BIRCHAM WATERPROOF SOCKS | BLACK / GREY MARL

The original, military-endorsed Bircham Sock.
This ankle-length, fully waterproof and thermoregulating sock is built for high-intensity sport as well as relaxed outdoor adventures. Handcrafted with precision in the Sealskinz factory in Norfolk, the Bircham delivers reliable performance in all conditions.

Technology

Outer:
A highly durable polycolon and nylon blend with 4-way stretch for an adaptive, comfortable fit.

Mid-Section:
The Aquasealz™ waterproof membrane allows internal moisture vapour to escape, ensuring feet remain dry inside and out.

Interior:
Premium merino wool provides natural softness, temperature regulation, and sweat-wicking performance. Naturally antimicrobial, it helps prevent the growth of odour-causing bacteria.

Activities

Blending merino wool with engineered performance fibres, the Bircham offers a natural feel with advanced functionality. The Three-Layer Aquasealz™ Composition efficiently releases moisture from within while the hydrophilic membrane blocks water from entering—keeping feet dry, warm, and balanced. Its ankle-length height enhances overall breathability. Ideal for mountain biking, trekking, trail running, and hiking.

Materials & Construction

Handmade and individually tested in Norfolk, each pair reflects Sealskinz’s commitment to craftsmanship. The combination of natural and synthetic materials offers exceptional performance with a soft, comfortable feel. Every sock undergoes rigorous testing to ensure complete waterproofness and long-lasting durability.
